Slovenia has been a member of the European Union for 15 years. In 2008 it also presided over the EU Council. All of this makes Slovenia a rather stable environment for foreign investment.

Maribor, as the second largest city in the country and an industrial giant in the recent past, has experienced an economic revival over the past years and is increasingly present in the world economy. These were the basic starting points that led to the establishment of the MII.

The Maribor Investment Institute (abbreviated to MII) was created in 2019. The main goal of the Institute is to promote Slovenian investment projects, with the main focus being China and Russia.

We help foreign companies to establish a company, as well as at the beginning of their business operations in Slovenia. We understand that our partners from abroad expect the highest possible level of quality, and our direction is exclusively World Class quality.

For foreign partners, we also carry out business projects in Slovenia in the way that we connect Slovenian world-renowned experts with our foreign partners and offer a comprehensive proposal, which guarantees World Class quality.
